February 2011

1. A Lady's Guide to Improper Behavior by Suzanne Enoch
Something series, Book 2 (will look that up... )
Historical romance featuring the very proper and popular heroine and the sullen emotionally and physically wounded soldier, Colonel Bartholomew James.

2. Kiss Me Deadly edited by Trisha Telep
A review of this young adult paranormal anthology can be found on main blog. It was a great way to sample the writing of several prominent YA authors.

3. The Lover's Dictionary by David Levithan
Glimpses into the relationship between an unnamed man and his lover, told from the perspective of the man, who shares the trials and tribulations of love through anecdotes that correspond with words from the dictionary, starting with words that start with the letter A straight through the alphabet to letter Z. Interesting story telling style and a very insightful and realistic look into the love between two real people.

4. Marly's Ghost by David Levithan

5. Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie

6. Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi
Book One: The Stonekeeper

7. The Good Neighbors by Holly Black & Ted Naifeh
